Bethel pentecost Church
A Malayalam community-based Church in Australia’s Capital, founded by Pastor Wilson Philip in February 2020.
The Holy Spirit guided Pastor Wilson to lead a small prayer group, interceding and praying for many at the Lord’s feet, which was later established into Church.
The fellowship is focused on Indian Malayalee communities for spiritually uplifting, declaring the Good News to exemplify Jesus Christ and to reach the unreached.
Our church has youth meetings and Sunday school, where children and youth are trained on bible-based teachings. We also have Bible study, intercessory prayers, ladies’ meetings and various outreach programs.

How God Led Us Here
Pastor Wilson Philip starts a small prayer group in Canberra, guided by the Holy Spirit.
The prayer group grows and is officially established as Bethel Pentecost Church.
Regular programs including Sunday School, Youth Meetings, and Ladies Meetings begin.
Assistant Pastor Kiran Babu joins, and the church continues to reach more families.

Pastor Wilson Philip
“His belief in the power of prayer has brought many closer to Christ.”
Born in Konni, Kerala, India. After experiencing God’s miraculous healing, he dedicated his life to ministry across India, South Korea, Ireland, and now Australia where he founded BPC Canberra in 2020.
Evg. Kiran Babu
Evangelism Director
“We’re passionate about sharing God’s love and values with everyone.”
His journey with Christ began in 2003. A miraculous healing after a head injury drew his family closer to God. He joined BPC Canberra in 2025 with his wife and three children, dedicated to serving the Lord.

Through intercessory prayer, we uphold biblical principles, believing in prayer's power to bring change in lives, families, and communities.
What We Believe

The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible consists of sixty-six books including the Old and the New Testament. It is the inspired Word of God and a revelation from God to Man, concerning the will of God in all things necessary to our faith, conduct and salvation.

The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons (Trinity), namely the God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Salvation Through Christ
Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but fell by voluntary transgression. His only hope of redemption and salvation is in Jesus Christ. Repentance is commanded of God for all, and is necessary for forgiveness of sin.

Water Baptism
We believe in the ordinance of believer’s baptism by immersion, in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, for all who repent and believe Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit
All believers are entitled to and should earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, evidenced by the initial sign of speaking in tongues and subsequent manifestation of the Spiritual gifts.

Divine Healing
The deliverance from sickness is provided for all in Christ’s atonement and is the privilege of all believers, including the anointing of the sick with oil for healing and the laying on of hands.
